Location
Set under shady trees on a forest island in Zambia’s Liuwa Plain National Park, Matamanene Camp is an intimate tented camp located in the heart of Liuwa’s untamed wilderness. Embraced by the Luambimba and Luanginga Rivers, this remote and pristine wilderness promises spectacular, untamed landscapes or green and gold grasslands, dramatic lightning storms and an abundance of plains game.
Accommodation
Four simply designed safari tents provide comfortable beds and en-suite bathrooms with flush toilets and hot and cold showers, while the elegantly furnished main communal tent is an ideal place to relax with sundowner before enjoying a delicious dinner under the stars.
The thrilling sense of adventure is heightened around the evening fire, as you share anecdotes, serenaded by the sounds of the wild, and awed by the sky-full of stars above you.
