Little Makalolo
With accommodation for only 12 people, the camp provides a high degree of privacy. The six tents are large, comfortable, tastefully decorated tented rooms with en suite facilities, hot and cold running water, as well as both indoor and outdoor showers. One large tent is equipped especially for families.
Game drives at Little Makalolo are in open-roof vehicles, offering ideal opportunities for keen wildlife photographers. There are numerous hides throughout the reserve for intimate viewings, and on bush walks you’ll fully appreciate the incredible ecosystem as well as learning about bushcraft from your guide. For birders, the park offers a wonderful range of birding, from the Miombo to Kalahari species.
From mysterious baobab groves, to the arid sands of Hwange, the balancing rocks of Matobo, and the awesome Zambezi River as it rages over Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe is a country that serves up all that could be hoped for in an African holiday destination.
There are few other safari destinations that offer the sheer diversity of landscapes that Zimbabwe does. The cascading waters of Victoria Falls and forested banks of the Zambezi River contrast with the arid open plains of Hwange and the rugged mountain terrain of Matusadona. Together, they create a completely unique safari experience.
