Location
Naboisho is located in the 200 km2 Naboisho Conservancy, a vast private conservancy next to the iconic Masai Mara National Reserve.
Double Tent Interior Naboisho Camp Masai Mara
Accommodation
With only nine tents in total, including two family tents, this intimate camp, its local staff and surrounding incredible scenery, creates a warm and friendly environment. Each of the spacious tented suites has luxurious furnishings, an en-suite bathroom with indoor and outdoor hot running shower and a proper flush toilet.

Each suite benefits from the attentions of a personal butler – plus a private veranda furnished with a day bed – for the ultimate in post-game drive relaxation.
The lounge area boasts breath-taking open views towards a salt lick which attracts animals throughout the day, giving you the opportunity to view wildlife without setting foot out of the camp.

Experiences
  • Game drives, accompanied by a local Maasai guide, are a must. Explore at night too, or on foot for a different and exciting new perspective.

  • Try fly-camping (spending a night or two in a tent away from the main camp) right in the middle of the bush for the ultimate authentic safari experience.

  • Naboisho has a specially adapted photographic vehicle with drop-down sides, swivel seats and camera rests to help you capture wildlife encounters.

  • Over fives will enjoy the adapted children’s safari and cultural activities - visiting schools, learning bush skills, identifying animal tracks, to name a few!

Conservation
Asilia, Naboisho Camp’s parent company, partners with Mara Elephant Project. Their work includes elephant collaring, monitoring and research, anti-poaching patrols, rapid response units and mitigating human-wildlife conflict through education as well as providing practical support to communities. They have an overall aim of protecting elephants in the Greater Mara ecosystem.
Environment
Environment
Asilia, have dedicated themselves to “responsible tourism” in all of their camps throughout Africa. Their CO2 offset project has protected 17.4 hectares of dryland forest, greatly thankful to the fact that 90% of electricity in their camps is from renewable sources. As a result, Naboisho Camp has been awarded a prestigious gold Eco-rating from Ecotourism Kenya.
Community
Community
The camp provides bursaries to needy students through the Maa Trust (currently supporting pupils at Olesere and Mbitin primary schools). They sponsor guides (particularly female guides) from Koiyaki Guiding School – currently supporting two two ladies and two pupils at a boarding primary school. The camp also involves pupils from Olesere and Mbitin primary schools in conservation initiatives through game drives and interaction on conservation issues within the conservancy.
