Location
Ol Lentille is a magnificent collection of fully-serviced private villas perched on a wooded rocky kopje in the heart of a private conservation area. This region is the northern escarpment of the Laikipia Plateau with incredible views of Mount Kenya, the Samburu sacred mountain Ololokwe, the Mathews Mountain Range and the Karisia Hills.

Intimate Family Accommodation
Each of the four stunning and luxurious safari villas can be taken exclusively offering you spectacular views from your private balcony. The houses are all of different sizes so can accommodate couples, families and groups alike.

As a family, you will stay in either one of three villas, depending on how many you’re travelling with. Boscia, Acacia and Aloe are the largest of Ol Lentille’s four villas. Acacia and Aloe suit parties of four as spacious two-bedroom units, while Boscia takes up to six with its third bedroom.

Sweeping staircases lead you to second level sitting rooms with infinite views across Laikipia’s rolling hillscapes. You will have a private butler and chef to prepare five-star cuisine to eat wherever you like—in your villa, the library, even out in the bush!

Safari Activities for All the Family
All your activities here are private, led by your personal Maasai guide. Take as much or as little time as you like on game drives with your own 4x4 safari vehicle.

Search for elephant, giraffe and buffalo, before going off road to find more elusive creatures like leopard and wild dog.

Best suited for teenagers are walking safaris, quad and mountain biking.

More sedate, but no less exciting, is a camel trekking safari. This traditional beast of burden will carry you across the rocky landscapes, led by local Samburu and Maasai guides.

Conservation
Conservation
The camp employs 24 rangers from local communities to protect the vast Ol Lentille Conservancy. The team runs anti-poaching patrols, mitigates human-wildlife conflict and deals with cattle encroachment on the Conservancy ensuring the wildlife can thrive in harmony with local people.
Environment
Environment
The camp manages a conservation area and since its creation, the local water table has risen significantly, so much so that previously dry springs are flowing again. 90% of the water used at the camp is stored rainwater with very little needed to be extracted from the ground.
Community
Community
Since the lodge opened in 2007, The Ol Lentille Trust has raised over $5 million which has aided the building of four schools and numerous classrooms at eight other schools, a hospital and multiple water and sanitation projects.
