Accommodation
Split into two areas, the Nile Wing and the Palace Wing, the hotel comprises 220 rooms, 82 of which are lavish suites. The wings are connected by a glorious outdoor pool - when you’re not out and about, exploring the area, this is the perfect spot for basking in the Egyptian sun.

The Palace Wing offers its guests indulgent luxury, with suites and rooms decorated in gold and scarlet, designed to hark back to the hotel’s Victorian era origins.

The Nile Wing offers an indulgent stay too, though this time with more of a modern feel. Private balconies overlook the sacred river and are an excellent place to sit back with a cocktail and take in the views of the water, swaying palms and the feluccas that gracefully sail by.
When you need a rest, the pool and the spa offer you the perfect retreat. Taking inspiration from the Nile and its history of nourishing the area, the hotel’s spa aims to do the same for you.

There are various treatment rooms, each in keeping with the hotel’s grand ambiance, and an extensive menu of restorative treatments. The indoor pool is lined with sparkling tiled pillars and is ideal for a rejuvenating swim in the evening.

There are a selection of restaurants to choose from but the most well-known at the hotel is 1902, which serves fine French cuisine in an incredibly decadent domed dining room. In the other restaurants you’ll find Levant cuisine, Mediterranean cuisine, and lighter snacks.
