When you first contact Africa Exclusive you will speak with a member of our travel design team, who between them have over 100 years of experience. This conversation will form the foundations for your itinerary, giving us the chance to get to know you and understand your aspirations for your holiday. We will combine this with our extensive knowledge of Africa to create your perfect itinerary.
You don’t need to know anything about Africa to have this conversation, that’s our job. Over 30 years we have discovered Africa’s finest properties and developed an appreciation for the nuances of each safari region. We will only recommend the very best, beyond that there are no limitations.
Once you have received your itinerary there may be a period of refinement until you feel completely happy with everything. Sometimes our clients find it useful to sit down face to face to discuss the itinerary, particularly if you are travelling with friends or extended family. We are happy to travel to meet you.
You have complete financial security when you book with Africa Exclusive. We are fully bonded and licenced under the Civil Aviation Authority’s ATOL scheme, licence number ATOL 2883. This covers all clients who book their international flights from the UK and holiday arrangements through us.
Clients who book their own international flights and those who are resident outside the UK are also fully covered under an insurance policy that we voluntarily maintain with Travel and General Insurance Services. This is called a Total Payment Protection Policy (TOPP) and the policy number is AELI/topp/20/14.
When you book your holiday much of our work is just beginning. Therefore, at this point you will be assigned a member of our experienced Client Services team. They will work with your travel designer and personally ensure that every last detail of your holiday runs “like a swiss clock” and, that you are fully prepared for your holiday.
Our Client Services team also perform the role of a concierge, so if you find you need to make a change to your travel arrangements, want to add tours or would like us to recommend and make restaurant reservations for you, we are happy to do so.
It is rare that we hear from our clients while they are away due to the accuracy of information we provide and the triple checking of travel arrangements. However, if you need us, we are here 24 hours a day and act swiftly to resolve any issue in a way that it most convenient to you.
