Why are you changing your name?

Over the past 32 years our areas of passion and expertise have expanded.

It is now over 20 years since as Africa Exclusive we started arranging incredible journeys for you to discover other parts of the world. We ventured first into Latin America, from there to India, Bhutan and Sri Lanka. Next, the awesome vistas of the Polar regions, and into Australasia and parts of our home continent Europe.

In total we now create spectacular itineraries for you across 50 different countries; full of extraordinary wildlife, fascinating cultures and spectacular wild places, and we don’t feel that the name Africa Exclusive is an accurate reflection of who we are.

Was Africa Exclusive bought by Journeysmiths?

No. Africa Exclusive evolved into Journeysmiths. We are the same team and the Company is still owned by the same people.

So, are you not an Africa specialist anymore?

We are still an Africa specialist, but over the last 20 years we have broadened that specialism to include other parts of the world where you can enjoy unique encounters with wildlife.

Do you work to the same standards in other parts of the world as you do in Africa?

Absolutely. We have been arranging travel to Latin America, Asia and the polar regions for over 20 years now. Over that time, we have developed a great knowledge of those destinations while nurturing relationships with partners who will help us to ensure wherever you travel with Journeysmiths you can expect that same high quality of experience.

Will this affect my booking in any way?

Not at all. In reality, other than our name, very little changes; it is the same team with the same passion for extraordinary journeys who will ensure that every element of your trip runs like clockwork.

The only difference you will see, if you are due to travel after 2023, is the Journeysmiths branding on all communication you will receive from us.

Will your contact details change?

No, you will be able to reach us on the same phone number (UK + ROW: +44 (0)1604 628979, US: +1-866-871-3829) and the same email and physical address. Our website (safari.co.uk) also stays the same.
