Uniquely designed luxury beach lodge
Kilindi is spread throughout 50 acres of lush tropical gardens, leading down to the warm waters of the Indian Ocean and has a unique style, combining a more contemporary Scandinavian design with traditional Arabic influences.
Palatial Guest Villas
Accommodation is in 15 arched pavilion-style villas, with unique domed roofs and magnificent ocean views. Each stunning villa has a spacious bedroom, a bathroom complete with exotic waterfall shower and its own private plunge pool and terrace with sun loungers. Two of the villas each have two bedrooms, perfect for families.
Well-Appointed Communal Areas
The main lodge is open at the front, with archways to a terrace with breathtaking ocean views of traditional wooden dhows and Tumbatu Island. There is a spacious bar with a waterfall feature and an indoor/outdoor dining area. Dining options at Kilindi are plentiful and staff will be happy to arrange anything from a romantic dinner on the beach to room service. The kitchen has an organic garden that provides ingredients for meals and an on-site smokery for local fish delicacies.
Relax in the pool or spa
The 25 metre infinity pool is perfect if you want the opportunity to get a bit of exercise or simply cool off from the afternoon sun, while Kilindi’s spa offers further opportunities to relax and rejuvenate. Skilled East African therapists pair traditional massage and treatment techniques with natural Africology products.
