Private Safari House in the Serengeti

Private Safari House in the Serengeti
Named in honour of Mkombe Mniko, an inspirational guide, the house sits atop Kogakuria Kopje in one of the richest mammal habitats in Africa. Very much a private home, Mkombe’s House will sleep four adults and six children in comfort. Each room has an en-suite bathroom. It is the perfect retreat for families, with a large swimming pool and children’s pool, as well as flexible and child-friendly menus. Your suites are light and open, beautifully styled and with some of the most impressive vistas in the Serengeti.

Equally stunning is the location. This Tanzanian section of the Mara River is a special part of the Serengeti and one of the best-kept secrets of Africa. It hosts large concentrations of wildlife all year round and is less well known and far less visited than the Masai Mara on the Kenyan side of the river. It affords the rare opportunity for secluded game drives well away from the crowded areas further south.
