A haven of space and bush luxury, all three of the villas are perfect for groups and families of varying sizes. The Owner’s House is intimate, accepting just four guests. River House will comfortably house six adults and four children, while Farm House takes up to 10 guests of any age. The suites are presidential in size and style and the lodges feature open floor plans and chic decor. You can enjoy delicious meals al fresco or indoors and there are plenty of comfortable nooks to relax or play games in between safaris.

Staying at Morukuru gives you a private guide and vehicle to explore malaria-free Madikwe at your own leisure. On game drives, your guide will take you in search of not just the Big Five, but the ‘Magnificent Seven’. The usual suspects — elephant, rhino, buffalo, lion and leopard — are joined by thriving populations of cheetah and wild dog. So whether you’d like to enjoy a lazy morning and head out for an hour or so before lunch, or quite the opposite to focus on specific wildlife sightings, you can do so without the inhibition of other guests.

Staff and guides love interacting with and teaching younger guests about the African bush and meanwhile, parents are perfectly catered for.
