Saruni Wild

Saruni Wild is one of the most remote and private camps in the Masai Mara – and one of the smallest. The camp is set in a remote valley in a private conservation on the very northern edge of the Mara plains and offers a new concept of African safari: a real African adventure lived in harmony with the local Maasai tribes coupled but still with high standards of style and comfort.
There are just three spacious, stylish tents with large gauze windows, proper beds, simple safari furniture and en-suite flush toilet and shower. One tent has two bedrooms, so is suitable for families. while meals are generally taken around a campfire or in the dining tent, which doubles as a lounge during the day. Hardly anyone seems to visit this valley beyond the maximum of eight people that can be accommodated in the camp and it has its own resident populations of elephant, giraffe, antelope, zebra and other creatures.
The Warriors Academy is a special interactive wildlife safari with a strong educational flavour, designed especially for families or small groups. It is a fun experience that allows you to explore not only the wildlife, but the real life from some of the most well-known and culturally interesting cultures left in Africa, the Maasai and the Samburu. Under the tutelage of their warriors, get to know, enjoy and understand these unique people and see the Kenyan bush from a different perspective.
Experience bush skills, survival skills and tracking at first hand, learn about the folklore and ancient wisdom needed to survive in this rich wildlife region, visit an original Maasai village, learn how to use bow and arrows, pangas and spears, even build a bush camp! Share time with real warriors while they walk, sing, track and live the traditional life in this phase of their existence.
