Private wildlife viewing
The migration passes through Grumeti between April and June, though at all times of the year there are impressive numbers of zebra, antelope, giraffe, elephant, buffalo and other plains game. This is also a favourite haunt of predators including prides of lion, leopard and cheetah. Sasakwa’s expert guides take guests on safari early in the morning and in the afternoon, by open vehicle, seeking out the herds. They can also conduct safaris on horseback and short walking safaris where you can put Africa 'under the microscope' and learn the fundamentals of tracking, going places that the vehicles cannot reach.
