Unsure of which career path to follow, yet already with a passion for great adventure, Honour studied for a master’s in International Hotel and Tourism which led her to Tongabezi Lodge, just upriver from Victoria Falls in Zambia — the rest as they say, is history.
Honour’s time spent in this region makes her the perfect person to accompany us on the third leg of our expedition. It is here that an intimate knowledge of the river, its seasonal patterns and nuances will ensure we experience just the right level of adventure as we discover its geology, history and wildlife. If you are craving further credentials, Honour was a member of the team that accompanied Sir Ranulph Fiennes on his 180km trip along the river in celebration of the 150th anniversary of David Livingstone’s discovery. Need I say more!
In addition to adventures in Africa, travelling north, south, east and west in her quest to seek out the continent’s most spectacular destinations, Honour is a keen sailor and has completed two legs in an around the world yacht race from Australia to China and New York to England.
Today, Honour continues to inspire us through her representation of a number of Africa’s finest camps and lodges. Her experience of and passion for, in particular southern Africa, combined with her positive attitude and adventurous spirit make her a wonderful addition to our team.
