Location

Paspaley Pearl’s home port is Broome; an outpost perched on Western Australia’s remote Kimberley coast. This luxury expedition yacht navigates a global biodiversity hotspot ranked among the top 3.7 percent of least impacted marine environments in the world.

This coast has more than 12,000 kilometres of pristine shoreline punctuated by red-rock cliffs, hidden gorges and seemingly endless white-sand beaches.

Seafaring through over 2,500 islands, from the Buccaneer Archipelago’s labyrinth of granite escarpments to the tidal wonders of Horizontal Falls and Montgomery Reef, each cruise immerses travellers in a landscape shaped by billion-year geology and ancient Aboriginal heritage. Every voyage reveals secluded bays, vibrant coral-lined rivers and awe-inspiring sunsets.

Accommodation

Designed to welcome just 30 adventurers across 15 cabins, the Paspaley Pearl embodies a concept of understated elegance in pursuit of getting to wild, remote places in exceptional comfort. At just over 50 metres in length and 11 metres across the beam, she balances expansive living areas with a subtle profile and fine lines. A draught of just 3.4 metres grants access to the Kimberley’s hidden coves, reefs, rocky crevices and tidal inlets off-limits to larger vessels.

A dedicated crew of 21 professionals brings local expertise and genuine passion to every voyage. Four expert expedition guides lead daily shore excursions, presenting deep insights into geology, wildlife and ancient Aboriginal culture.
Communal areas are designed for uninterrupted views: the sun deck lounge, bar and Jacuzzi provide a relaxed backdrop for conversations at sunset, while indoor lounges offer all-weather comfort. Dining unfolds where you choose – on deck beneath the stars or inside the elegant Horizon Grill. Cuisine, overseen by a renowned chef and his team, focuses on fresh, regional ingredients that mirror the expedition’s spirit: thoughtful, inventive and wholly authentic.

Proudly Australian-owned, Paspaley Pearl is the flagship superyacht of a Darwin-based pearl family famous throughout the country for their exquisite pearl jewellery. No wonder, therefore, that when you have a voyage on this boat, you’re likely to call in for a behind-the-scenes tour of their pearl farm.

Experiences

Exactly what is seen when you take an adventure on Paspaley Pearl depends on the route that it navigates. Here are a few examples:

  • You’ll see the rugged, rocky and remote cliffs and inlets of the Kimberley coast, where 2-billion-year-old rocks defiantly interact with the sea. Then there are the 1000 tiny islands and secluded beaches of the Buccaneer Archipelago.
  • The arrangement of rock and sea can result in strange phenomena, such as the ‘horizontal falls’ in Talbot Bay.
  • There are also torrents tumbling directly into the sea, including Western Australia’s highest waterfall: the 100-metre-high King George Falls.
  • Discover the Aboriginal rock art heritage of the Kimberley, the greatest collection of outdoor galleries in the world.
  • Explore the Hunter-Roe river system, lined with ancient rainforest pockets, pristine mangroves and complex sandstone cliffs.
  • Experience the wonder of the power of the tides at Montgomery Reef, the world’s largest inshore reef system.
  • From July to September witness the largest population of migrating humpback whales on the planet.

Conservation
Conservation
Limiting each voyage to just 30 guests, the Paspaley Pearl prioritizes minimal ecological footprint. Operations adhere to strict Marine Stewardship Council standards for sustainable marine practices pioneered by its parent company. Waste streams are segregated onboard, and fuel-efficient engines reduce emissions, ensuring that sensitive Kimberley reefs and coastlines remain undisturbed.
Community

Designed with a 3.4-metre draft and efficient propulsion, the vessel minimizes disturbance of seabed habitats. Onboard systems prioritize freshwater recycling and strict waste management. Inspired by Paspaley’s six-year Pearl Stewardship roadmap, these strategies continuously adapt to reduce emissions, protect biodiversity, and safeguard the Kimberley’s pristine marine environment from vessel impacts.
