Belmond Palacio Nazarenas
The Nazarenes dissolved their order in 1961. Following extensive restoration, the building reopened in 2012 as a luxury hotel, preserving its Inca channels and colonial architecture while adding contemporary comfort.

A few hundred metres to the north, the hills rise toward Saqsaywaman, the sprawling Inca complex famed for its cyclopean, close‑fitting masonry.
