Wildebeest Migration Istock
Location
The camp operates within three of Tanzania’s national parks, following the weather and the wildlife.

Sometimes the camp is in the Serengeti, known for its classically African rolling plains and the wildebeest migration (and the predators that inevitably follow!). The camp’s operators ensure you’re visiting only the remote corners, far away from the park’s crowds.

You could also be walking through Ruaha, a rugged landscape of forest and sand rivers where herds of elephant and many antelope species roam.

The third location is Ugalla, a remote park that’s full of wildlife yet visited by only a handful of people every year.

Accommodation
The beauty of this camp is in its uncomplicated approach. As the camp has to be moved so frequently, and with the potential effects on the wildlife and landscapes in mind, your accommodation is as light as possible.

You won’t find a pool or spa here; it’s a minimal, no fuss and no frills experience that’s designed to help you truly reconnect with nature.

This certainly doesn’t mean you’ll scrimp on comfort though. You can still expect comfortable beds dressed in cotton sheets and a hot cup of coffee to enjoy when you wake.
There are just four traditional A-frame tents and each has a mesh roof, meaning you can enjoy a night under the stars, admiring the incredible views of the night sky. When you climb into bed, you’re surrounded by complete darkness, the sounds of nocturnal birds occasionally interrupted by the bark of zebra or the call of a hyena.

Simple but functional, bathroom facilities are located in three separate tents behind the sleeping tents. You’ll have a bucket shower, the perfect way to relax after a day’s walking, and short-drop toilets.

Dining follows a similar vein with the camp crew creating delicious, wholesome meals on the campfire. Enjoy eating with your fellow guests, surrounded by the untamed wilderness and soaking up the sense of adventure.
