Highlands House is located in the peaceful Highlands suburb of eastern Harare. This quiet, leafy residential area offers a serene atmosphere perfect for relaxation.

Despite its calm surroundings, it remains conveniently close to the city centre, making it an ideal retreat for those looking to enjoy both tranquillity and easy access to urban amenities.

Accommodation

The interiors of Highland House are designed to create a warm and welcoming feel, a feat which the hotel’s owners have certainly been successful in. The moment you arrive, you’re met by fresh flowers and plush, soft sofas perfect for sinking into with a good book. There are large windows throughout that bathe the rooms in natural light, creating an open, bright and airy space. The carefully considered colour palette features calming blues and creams that help to shape a traditional and relaxing ambience.
Your accommodation will be in the form of a suite, of which there are 18 in total. Each suite is as well-presented and elegant as the hotel’s main areas. You’ll have a large bed, a spacious en-suite bathroom and lots of space to relax in. Some suites have their own private courtyard where you can rest your legs and enjoy a coffee in the fresh air.

There are two dining options at Highland House. The first is the restaurant, known for its breakfasts with beautifully presented spreads of delicious fruits, yoghurts and cheeses, alongside hot cooked breakfasts and fresh coffee. The second is The Fridge, a cafe with lighter treats for when you’re feeling peckish and fancy a poolside snack.
