Elsewhere on the estate you’ll find a fully-equipped gym, wine cellar, a tennis court, and a home cinema. A large garden at the rear of the property is home to a pool where you can take a dip to cool off and enjoy a refreshing drink. You’ll also access the beach from here, walking through an archway of leaves to be greeted by its powder soft sands.
- The Seychelles are renowned for excellent snorkelling and scuba diving. The warm waters here are home to a wide range of marine life including coral, turtle, ray and shoals of brightly coloured fish.
- While away the hours, or even days, luxuriating on the beach. Soft sands underfoot and the glistening Indian Ocean laid out before you, this is a place where you can truly unwind.
- Take a privately guided nature walk in the Vallée de Mai, one of only two places in the world where you’ll find the truly gigantic leaves of the coco de mer palm. This is also a prime spot for wildlife with many bird, including the rare black parrot, reptile and amphibian species present.
- Water activities here are excellent, with paddle-boarding, kayaking and body-boarding on offer - all wonderfully fun ways to explore the ocean together.
- Set sail on a relaxing boat cruise, or take a boat out to discover different islands and their varying cultures.
It is not only the Galapagos which has giant tortoise! You can find them in the Seychelles too. These extraordinary reptiles grow up to four feet long, weigh as much as 770 lbs, and some of them are more than 100 years old. They’ve survived here because their populations were isolated, protecting them against predators. Spotting them is a rare treat, as they are found in so few other places.
