This is Mihingo Lodge, a luxurious family-owned lodge strategically located next to Lake Mburo, atop an impressive kopje with views over Lake Mburo National Park for as far as the eyes can see. It’s an eco-friendly property perfectly in keeping with the landscape.
If you can drag yourself away from the refreshing infinity pool overlooking the valley that thousands of buffalo, zebra, impala, bush buck, and eland call home, then the 12 luxury tents are calling. Each airy canvas tent, with en suite bathrooms and comfortable beds, is unique, but they all enjoy sweeping views of the impalla dotted savanna, who are attracted close to your private balcony by salt lick.
For active guests, mountain biking through the bush amongst unique African wildlife is an experience not to be missed, as is a morning run beside wildlife-filled watering holes. Those looking to relax will not be disappointed though.
