Mkombe's House
The park’s largely open landscapes make it easy to spot animals – and it’s a beautiful place for photographers to create a unique composition. Accommodations are plentiful and varied throughout, from luxury tented camps to well-established lodges. Long days spent in the safari vehicle are well worth it – there’s always something special to see in the Serengeti.
Very much a private home, Mkombe’s House will sleep four adults and six children in comfort. Each room has an en-suite bathroom.
It is the perfect retreat for families, with a large swimming pool and children’s pool, as well as flexible and child-friendly menus. Your suites are light and open, beautifully styled and with some of the most impressive vistas in the Serengeti.
You will have a private guide, who will accompany you on game drives and for the over 12s, guided walks.
Picnic breakfasts and lunches can be taken outside, kids love scrambling over the rocks looking for lizards and hyrax, and there are almost infinite beautiful places to enjoy your daily sundowner.
You’ll feel completely at home at Mkombe’s House, and will probably not want to leave.

The Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater are truly spectacular settings filled with great herds and big cats. We take you far from the crowds and minibuses with your own private guide, staying in exclusive accommodation. Families with older teenagers will love the wildly remote Selous, Ruaha and Mahale, where you can walk, canoe and even track chimpanzees. Round it off on exotic Zanzibar.
