Location
You’ll find Onduli Ridge between two granite outcrops on a private concession in the Doro Nawas Conservancy of Namibia’s Damaraland. To the south, you’ll have views of Brandberg, the country’s tallest mountain.

The unusual, dry landscapes of this part of Namibia are harsh but beautiful in equal measures, and are characterised by huge red, dusty rock formations that feel as though they belong on another planet. It’s a quiet, peaceful place to stay run by a warm and welcoming local team who provide excellent guiding outside the lodge and outstanding hospitality and culinary experiences within it.

Accommodation
As if they were the habitat of discerning rock-dwelling desert animals, the six suites at Onduli Ridge are built around the very bedrock of its spectacular location. Perfectly placed for privacy on its individual terrace, an Onduli Ridge suite has a whole sliding wall so that you can enjoy uninterrupted views and the delight of the breezes. At night, you may want to roll your bed outside to sleep under the starlit heavens. Even taking a shower can be enjoyed with open-air sky views.
Away from your modern granite grotto, you’ll find communal areas featuring super-cool lounging decks, a library, a sandy campfire area, and a perching pool set amid the boulders. Descend deeper into the rocks and you’ll find a secret gem: Onduli Ridge’s impressive wine cellar.

Wherever you are at Onduli Ridge, enjoying a sundowner cocktail, indulging in delicious food in the restaurant, lounging on your deck or by the pool, the views over the Damaraland plains are spectacular. What’s more, you’ll know that the contemporary curves and natural tones of the camp ensure that it sits sympathetically and beautifully into the landscape.
