You can also discover more here than the impressive chimp population: take forest walks spotting diverse flora and fauna, for a different perspective set off at night to see the nocturnal creatures of the forest come to life, hike the slopes of the Rwenzori Mountains or visit villages to gain an understanding of the fascinating culture and way of life, including the Batoro tribes.
Accommodation
The larger luxury cottages are more intimate, situated in a private area of the forest and have huge glass sliding doors and large windows to let in maximum light and allow guests to be immersed in the amazing sights and sounds of the forest. They have king-sized beds and outstanding ivory coloured bathrooms.
The spacious restaurant serves both international and African cuisine, the well-stocked bar will keep you refreshed and there is even a unique ‘cave’ where fires are lit to warm yourself up in cooler evenings.
