Botswana is a year round safari destination. January to March is the green season and represents superb value for money. The shoulder season months are April to June, November and December when you can expect glorious sunshine and great wildlife. The peak season winter months from July to October offer perfect game viewing conditions but demand is high so book early and be prepared to pay a premium.
