These naturally ‘air conditioned’ bungalows are ideally situated; they are near enough to the main lodge’s excellent facilities, but are sufficiently quiet and secluded to ensure a peaceful stay, you even get your own private plunge pool for a moment for quiet reflection.
The resort’s main lodge house is beautifully in keeping with its surroundings. It has a thatched roof, beautiful furniture, and open air terraces, as well as a well stocked bar and outdoor pool. There is even a billiards room for a friendly post-dinner game or two!
For more exclusivity and privacy, you can stay at the Baileys Banda, an ‘owners house’ style private villa. This enjoys the same spectacular views as the rest of the camp, but is positioned far enough away from the ‘house-party’ energy of the main camp, providing a secluded hideaway. The two bedroom en-suite house enjoys its own plunge pool, viewing deck, kitchen (with chef), dedicated staff and its own safari vehicle.
- Indulge in your own private game spotting with the tripod mounted telescope available in your room.
- Embark on a thrilling adventure aboard our especially adapted 4WD open sided vehicles. Game drives depart early in the morning or late afternoon with our driver and knowledgeable guides.
- Our game walks are accompanied by our armed guides and give you a chance to enjoy the smaller joys of a safari that you might otherwise miss on a drive.
- Enjoy our shaded boat trip on Lake Tagalala for a fantastic close up view of hippos, crocodiles and water birds.
