Location
Jabali Ridge, the first luxury lodge in Tanzania’s Ruaha National Park is set atop a rocky kopje with the stunning wilderness of the park as its backdrop. It offers the best of both worlds: remoteness, and comfort.

Accommodation
Eight exclusive suites are dotted amongst the rocky boulders of the park, and accessed via wooden walkways. Sustainable timber dominates the interiors, so you feel as though you are sleeping in a treehouse, even when you’re tucked up beneath the thick linen sheets of the king sized bed.

Each en-suite room has a private deck, which is the perfect spot to take your morning coffee or to enjoy a sundowner.
There is a central lounge area and bar for you to enjoy the evenings with family and friends. The restaurant serves high-end, sophisticated cuisine. Enjoy a special picnic breakfast on your morning game drive and tuck into our three course dinner under a blanket of stars.

One highlight has to be the gorgeous outdoor infinity pool, with the most stunning views. Take a refreshing dip after a relaxing massage in the spa. Wherever you are in the camp, the breathtaking views of the surrounding landscapes showcase the blissful isolation of Ruaha and the nearby Mwagusi River.

Conservation
Conservation
Jabali Ridge’s parent company, Asilia runs a project to learn more about the Usangu Wetlands region of Ruaha National Park. Their research seeks to determine how the area could be sustainably developed to promote investment for safari tourism, while also assessing needs in terms of infrastructural and conservation upgrades.
Environment
Environment
Asilia have dedicated themselves to “responsible tourism” in all their camps. Their CO2 offset project has protected 17.4 hectares of dryland forest, greatly thankful to the fact that 90% of electricity in their camps is from renewable sources.
Community
Community
In response to the human-wildlife conflicts that exist all throughout eastern Africa, Asilia has launched the Twende Porini programme which involves inviting children from local communities and villages to stay in Asilia camps for a few days and take part in wildlife education and game drives.
