Location
It is not an overstatement to say that the earth moves at Murchison Falls, one of the world’s most powerful bodies of water. It is this incredible natural location that attracts an abundance of spectacular mammal and bird life that needs to be seen to be believed.
Accommodation
The sense of history in the Paraa Safari Lodge is paramount. From the moment you pass under the wooden beam doorway into the central lobby, you would be forgiven for thinking you had stepped back in time, back to a time when colonial explorers ventured deep into uncharted wilderness in search of undiscovered wildlife.
The lodge comprises 54 private rooms, each with an en suite bathroom and wooden balcony boasting views of the Nile and endless savannah grasslands leading to Murchison Falls. Samuel Baker, the first explorer to visit Murchison, could only have dreamed of the luxury that awaits at Paraa.
