Location
The 100m-long Silver Origin sails from San Cristobal, specialising on two routes that give on-board explorers the best possible experience of the north, western and central islands. Her seasoned 90 crew members ensure that a very slick and efficient formula is applied behind the scenes of your holiday; you will get the maximum possible time on each island.
Accommodation
Whilst the Galapagos Islands themselves cannot help but deliver an awesome adventure, Silver Origin plays its part too with exceptional levels of comfort and luxury. The accommodation on this vessel cannot be described as mere “cabins”, for you will be staying in an elegant suite with butler service. From your fully climate-controlled environment with beautiful ensuite bathroom, you will gaze out through a huge picture window onto your private veranda and beyond to the wonders of the waters of the Galapagos.
The advantages of the scale of the ship become clear when you venture around the communal areas, which are, of course, as luxurious as your suite. You will definitely make use the “knowledge lounge”, known as Basecamp, a place with an interactive wall and copious reference materials. Basecamp is where you will depart for Zodiac tours.

The food and service at the two restaurants are, of course, exemplary. The Grill is the place for alfresco lunches and evening meals that involve hot volcanic rock cooking at your table. For refined dining, the other restaurant offers an exquisite and varied menu of local and international delicacies. As everything is included, you can indulge yourself in culinary adventures to complement the thrills of the islands themselves.
