Set within the Wildwaters Reserve, a small collection of protected islands in the river, the lodge can only be accessed by boat making it wonderfully remote, yet it is conveniently just ninety minutes by road from Kampala and fifteen minutes from the town of Jinja.
There are 10 beautiful thatch and canvas rooms at the lodge, each surrounded by the islands lush wilderness, with a spacious bedroom, en-suite bathroom, including a free standing bath and a large private deck.
The rooms are linked to the main area of the lodge via a collection of raised wooden walkways which wind their way through the forest. Facilities at Wild Waters Lodge include a lounge and library, a relaxed café and bar and a swimming pool.

Views from the lodge extend across the fast flowing rapids of this part of the river and for those adventure seekers phenomenal white water rafting can be enjoyed as well as jet boating and kayaking and horse riding. For visitors seeking a more tranquil experience guided island walks, fishing and in room massages can revive the weary traveller either at the beginning or end of a holiday in Uganda.
