Luxury and Conservation In Costa Rica
Costa Rica's tropical climate means that you can visit throughout most of year. Traditionally the driest months are between January and April, but don't let the possibility of some rejuvenating rains between May and August deter you. We would generally not recommend September and October as these are the wettest months of the year.
Costa Rica packs a lot in to its relatively small size. We would usually recommend a stay of around 10 to 14 days. The diversity of unique experiences in this itinerary requires 2 - 3 weeks.
"I've had so many amazing wildlife encounters in Costa Rica, from witnessing my first sloth, hearing howler monkeys overhead to swimming with turtles, but it's the birds that always spring to mind; I spotted over 400 different species in no less than 16 days on my first visit! I will always remember seeing the beautiful resplendent quetzal in Monteverde's cloud forest for the first time, it was truly magical!"
