Inside there is a large bedroom, an en-suite bathroom complete with free-standing bathtub with a view and luxurious lounge area, perfect for relaxing in between exhilarating activities.
In the main area of the camp guests can choose to sit back in the comfortable lounge or keep warm around the fire pit which takes pride of place on the vast viewing deck.
There is a large infinity swimming pool for cooling off and a fully equipped fitness room for those that need their exercise. Dining is a delightful experience and meals are served either in the dining room or out under a star filled African sky.
Sunrise hot air balloon flights can also be arranged (at extra cost) for any guests wishing to float silently above the herds.
While staying at Angama you are welcome to visit one of the Maasai villages in the local area to get a flavour for daily life in the Mara. The best times to go are first thing in the morning when you can help milk the cattle or in the evening when the cattle, goats and sheep are being herded back to their enclosures for the night.
You are also welcome to visit the school where local children between the ages of three and 15 attend. Your guides will take you on a tour and introduce you to their families while explaining some of the cultures and traditions.
