Accommodation
Angama Mara is split into two separate camps, each with its own stylish and expansive communal areas. There are just 15 spacious and luxurious tented suites, each raised with panoramic views across the reserve.

Inside there is a large bedroom, an en-suite bathroom complete with free-standing bathtub with a view and luxurious lounge area, perfect for relaxing in between exhilarating activities.
The tented suites and communal library are also covered by high speed Wi-Fi for those wishing to stay in touch with the world.

In the main area of the camp guests can choose to sit back in the comfortable lounge or keep warm around the fire pit which takes pride of place on the vast viewing deck.

There is a large infinity swimming pool for cooling off and a fully equipped fitness room for those that need their exercise. Dining is a delightful experience and meals are served either in the dining room or out under a star filled African sky.

Experiences
You are able to explore this vast tract of land both during the day where full day excursions with picnic lunch can also be arranged on request.

Sunrise hot air balloon flights can also be arranged (at extra cost) for any guests wishing to float silently above the herds.

While staying at Angama you are welcome to visit one of the Maasai villages in the local area to get a flavour for daily life in the Mara. The best times to go are first thing in the morning when you can help milk the cattle or in the evening when the cattle, goats and sheep are being herded back to their enclosures for the night.

You are also welcome to visit the school where local children between the ages of three and 15 attend. Your guides will take you on a tour and introduce you to their families while explaining some of the cultures and traditions.
