Location

Set in a superb private position on Cape Town’s Victoria & Alfred Waterfront, you’ll have views towards the Atlantic Ocean on one side and the immense flat-topped expanse of Table Mountain to the other. This iconic waterside location is full of shops, restaurants and bars that you’ll love exploring both in the day and the evening.

Exuding timeless elegance, accommodation here combines comfort and style. You’ll have a variety of options ranging from double bedrooms with beautiful views of the mountain or over the harbour, right up to vast penthouse suites with separate living areas and sunny terraces.

All rooms and suites are tastefully decorated in a classic style with neutral shades, with panelled walls, large windows and parquet flooring. Your en-suite bathroom has both a shower and a bath, along with plush robes to wrap yourself up in after a long relaxing soak.
Dining options at the hotel are plentiful. The Heirloom restaurant offers contemporary dining inspired by South African flavours, or, for something a little more casual, make yourself comfortable in the Library Bar and relax with a cocktail and a light dish surrounded by curated collections of art and books. The hotel is home to further bars, as well as a spa, gym and outdoor pool.

Cape Grace has established a Wellness Programme in partnership with ICAS. This programme provides free, professional and confidential assistance with a variety of life’s challenges. The programme aims to encourage employees to identify problems early on and receive guidance and support from trained professionals at the earliest opportunity. This confidential service is available to all Cape Grace employees and their immediate family.

At Cape Grace, kitchen oil is transformed into biodiesel and on-site waste-sorting area minimises dumping and landfill contributions. Disused hardware is donated to an E-waste company and environmentally sensitive bulbs and batteries are disposed of responsibly.

SOS Village South Africa is part of a global federation working to protect and care for vulnerable children. Cape Grace sponsors one of the houses in the Thornton SOS Village, where staff members are also encouraged to get involved.
