Experiences
- The large Singita private reserve provides some of the most exciting and diverse game viewing experiences anywhere in Africa, enjoyed in the company of highly expert guides by open vehicle.
- You can also enjoy exciting night drives using a spotlight to encounter nocturnal species such as aardvark, porcupine and leopard on the prowl.
- You can also enjoy fascinating walking or mountain bike safaris when your guides’ knowledge and experience becomes most apparent as he explains the difference between a leopard track and a lion track.
- The bush is very varied and occasionally you will cautiously track an elephant or giraffe or other creatures, or pause for twenty minutes or so undercover, watching animals coming down to a waterhole to drink or interact.

Conservation
Singita is committed to restoring, protecting and enhancing the biodiversity of close to 1 million acres of land across four African countries. The aim is to secure the continued ecological integrity, wildlife management and ecosystem restoration of some of Africa’s most diverse wilderness areas and iconic wildlife – from the vast savannas of the Serengeti to the rainforests of Rwanda’s Volcanoes National Park; and from the lowveld region of south-eastern Zimbabwe to South Africa’s pristine bushveld.
Community
Singita strives to build strong community partnerships with our many neighbouring villages, and to assist them to thrive economically and socially. Their dedicated initiatives across all regions include a strong focus on education and range from early childhood development to onsite environmental education for school groups, academic bursaries and scholarships, digital learning opportunities for remote villages, English classes and adult bridging courses – as well as gender empowerment for woman and girls.
Environment
Singita recognises that sustainable operations across all of their lodges and support offices play a major role in achieving their purpose to preserve and protect large areas of African wilderness for future generations. They consistently strive to be more sustainable by doing all they can to reduce their ecological footprint and to improve the lives of our people, and those in neighbouring communities.
