Koros Camp
Come here to experience a completely different side of Kenya – comfortable and exclusive, yet thrillingly adventurous.
Location
The camp is surrounded by stunning vistas of rocky outcrops, epic plains, and dramatic mountain ranges, and the area's stark beauty is matched by its rich cultural heritage and biodiversity. The camp itself is a little oasis of comfort and tranquillity in an otherwise challenging landscape.
Accommodation
The pool area offers a refreshing breeze, making it a popular spot to relax during the afternoons. Perched at the highest point of the camp, it also provides a stunning setting for enjoying sundowners. Koros is a charming, beautifully styled camp that blends with the natural semi-desert landscape.

From the Team
“Staying at Koros Camp was extraordinary. We flew in over a staggering, tectonically carved landscape, explored the valleys on quad bikes, hiked to lofty viewpoints, skimmed across Lake Turkana in the camp’s own boat, and spent unforgettable time with local communities. Each evening, slipping into the pool to cool off became a quiet ritual and a moment to savour the sheer range of experiences the day had held.”

I have spent the last 18 years travelling to some of the planet’s most incredible places under the guise of ‘work’. For 11 of those, I have been waiting for my young family to be old enough to join me. In October 2022, that time finally came. Our first family safari in Kenya was perhaps even more special as, like many holidays, it had been postponed twice due to the COVID pandemic but, wow, was it worth the wait!
