Timeless landscapes teeming with iconic wildlife

Serengeti

Acacia-dotted savannahs, winding waterways and spectacular sunsets – this is quintessential Serengeti. Spot prides of lions laying in the shade as elephants lumber past, or feel the energy of thousands of migrating wildebeest as they lope across the plains. Why the Serengeti?
There’s much more to the Serengeti than the famous Great Migration, but it is quite a spectacle to behold if you’re in the park between November and July. The Serengeti is vast and filled with a variety of antelope, zebra, giraffe, warthog, hippo and big cats including leopard and cheetah.

The park’s largely open landscapes make it easy to spot animals – and it’s a beautiful place for photographers to create a unique composition. Accommodations are plentiful and varied throughout, from luxury tented camps to well-established lodges. Long days spent in the safari vehicle are well worth it – there’s always something special to see in the Serengeti.
  • Epic migration of wildebeest and plains game.
  • Large numbers of mammals and birds year round.
  • Big cats galore.
  • Incredible sunsets and stargazing.
  • Luxury camps and safari lodges.
  • Easy access to other safari locations.
