Location
The lodge is set at the top of Sasakwa Hill in the Grumeti Reserve of northern Tanzania, its position giving you unspoiled views over the iconic, rolling plains below. Here you’re surrounded by 350,000 acres of pristine wilderness where only very few people are permitted to visit at any one time.

Wildlife here is varied and abundant, and this is also the site of the famed Grumeti River crossings, where wildebeest in their thousands attempt to cross the river in a chaotic and frantic spectacle.

Accommodation
Just ten guests can be accommodated at Singita Milele, in five luxury suites, each with a slightly different design based on the area’s iconic wildlife. Each of the suites is spacious inside and have their own large outdoor areas too. You’ll have a vast terrace and deck, the plains of the Serengeti laid out before you. Wake up to this unbeatable view of the savannah below and enjoy a hot cup of coffee on your deck before starting the day - perfect!

The lodge’s main areas are carefully considered and feature several spaces for you to unwind and relax, both indoors and out.
Spacious outdoor lounges, complete with fireplaces, bars, day beds and dining areas, are perfect for gathering with your other family members or guests. In the evenings, while away the hours together in the outdoor boma, warmed by the dancing flames of the firepit.

When you fancy some time to unwind, the lodge’s therapists provide personalised treatments using essential oils and inspired by indigenous wisdom. There’s an infinity pool too, where you can enjoy a refreshing and rejuvenating dip.

Food and wine is hugely important at Singita Milele. Deli-bars mean tasty delicacies are on hand all day and you can also enjoy private fine dining and tailored wine tastings. If you’re interested in wines, be sure to take a look at the cellar where you’ll find a remarkable collection of award-winning wines.
