Punta Suarez has spectacular bird life; there are so many blue-footed booby nesting on the ground that you will need to be careful to avoid treading on their nests. Buzzards swoop down from the tops of trees to hunt for food for their young. Other birding highlights on the island include Galapagos dove, the red-billed tropicbird, swallow-tailed gull, and, most importantly, the waved albatross.
