Diphlu River Lodge

Location
At the edge of the park, the Diphlu River flows across the floodplain before joining the Brahmaputra near one of its rare bridging points. Just a couple of kilometres upstream from this confluence, you’ll find Diphlu River Lodge.
Accommodation
Four cottages face the river, while the remainder overlook paddy fields. Each air‑conditioned ensuite unit accommodates two guests, with cosy beds, and a seating area with writing desk. Wide folding glass doors open onto verandas furnished with cane chairs, creating a relaxed, rustic yet comfortable atmosphere. Past guests include Prince William and Princess Kate, so you can be reassured that the lodge lives up to at least their standards.
Additional facilities include the Hilltop, where barbeques and local dance performances are hosted, and the Lahé Spa, offering massages and treatments. Dining emphasizes fresh, regional cuisine served in the Machan or outdoors, with attentive hospitality ensuring every meal feels both personal and memorable.

Our trip to India with Journeysmiths was exceptional, with our contact (Ross) on top of even the smallest detail. The suggested itinerary was perfectly thought out and provided a welcome mix of cultural experiences and natural wonders. Organisation 'on the ground' was seamless, including our transport, guides and other local contact. All accommodation exceeded our expectations and ensured we actively looked forward to returning to our hotel every day, despite the fun we were having.
