1. Go Exclusive in Botswana’s Delta & Desert
Thanks to one of Africa’s great rivers – the Okavango – there are two exceptional environments in close proximity, both locations for exclusive camps. Discharging its waters into the arid interior of Botswana, the river’s delta is home to phenomenally diverse safari habitats. Then, as the life-giving liquid percolates and evaporates, the land becomes starkly beautiful as the arid Makgadikgadi Salt Pans take over.
Blending the spirit of 1940s African exploration with modern exclusivity and opulence, Jacks Camp has long set the standard for luxury safari experiences. With the addition of the secluded Jack’s Private Camp, guests can enjoy an even more personal, private and tailored adventure in the midst of the stark beauty of the Kalahari Desert.
Small, luxurious and in a perfect island position next to a permanent body of water, Daunara feels wild despite its exceptional comforts. It's an excellent choice for a private safari stay booked exclusively for your family or group.
2. Explore Canada’s British Columbia on a Private Yacht
Originally a US naval vessel in World War II – even serving as a spy ship – she has retained her rugged exterior despite being refitted for luxury charters. Guided by its expert crew of navigators and naturalists, it takes a handful of guests into a territory where whales, dolphins, sealions and orcas coincide with wolves, eagles and bears.
3. A Luxury Stay on the Most Remote Continent, Antarctica
Encounters with emperor penguins are just the beginning of what’s possible when you stay in Antarctica. Expeditions into ice caves, up a nunatak and to the geographic South Pole are all on offer – as are journeys across the ice by ski or fat bike. Returning to the luxuries of base, perhaps after a champagne picnic, it’s time to relax looking at one of the world’s most exclusive views from your hyper-insulated pod. Time in the library or sauna, followed by a talk by a resident expert, concludes a perfect day without the prospect of a sunset.
The Ultimate Safari Extension?
Whether you opt for a single day adventure from Cape Town or a longer stay at one or even both of the White Desert camps, this is the ultimate contrast: a seamless, extraordinary extension to any African journey, tailored entirely around you.
Contact us to find out how to integrate Antarctica, and even time at the geographical South Pole, with a trip to Africa.

In one of the most remote and untouched places on Earth, the small and exclusive Echo Camp places you in the heart of Antarctica’s icefields and mountains. You’ll stay in futuristic luxury pods, enjoy exceptional shared spaces, and savour superb food to fuel each day’s astonishing adventure.
4. Chile’s Atacama and Bolivia’s Uyuni Salt Flats in one Trip
True discovery rarely comes from staying still – either metaphorically or physically – but the journey can be all the richer with thoughtful guidance and a few restful waypoints along the way. That’s where we come in, offering a tailor-made framework built around your interests, using the remarkable Explora lodges between San Pedro de Atacama in Chile to Uyuni in Bolivia.
A standalone trip, ideally over 11 days, or as part of a wider holiday in South America, more details of this journey through epic landscapes is one of our trip ideas.
5. Experience Argentina’s Rich Culture
Between the fertile Pampas and the towering Andes lie the rolling hills of Cordoba, the rangeland of Estancia Los Potreros; a working ranch that has been in the same Anglo-Argentine family for four generations. Life at such special places is built on teamwork: from the skilled gauchos and sure-footed horses to the cooks whose meals bring everyone together, it’s a community in the truest sense.

A sighting of any one of the Big Five is a cause for great excitement. But spotting a rhino in the wild? It is one of those things that dreams are made of.
